Senior Production Operator – Upstream Production

About the role

Renco S.p.A. is seeking a Senior Production Operator to lead field‑based production and well‑surveillance activities. The role ensures safe, efficient daily operations while complying with international upstream safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute production plans and troubleshoot well production deferments and artificial lift operations.
• Oversee daily field operations, monitor water‑flood parameters, refill chemical tanks and perform crude oil sampling.
• Validate and authorize daily Permits to Work, mechanical isolations, LOTO procedures and gas testing as the Area Authority.
• Act as SIMOPS representative and controller within the designated area.
• Perform technical well‑surveillance routines, including Sonolog surveys and Look‑Listen‑Feel checks.
• Manage commissioning and hand‑over procedures for new development wells.
• Track milestones, monitor abnormal conditions and prepare detailed production reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 8–10+ years of upstream production experience, including at least 5 years in a senior field role.
• Immediate or short notice availability.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to coordinate across engineering functions.
