Store Manager - Hypermarket

About the role

The Store Manager – Hypermarket leads all aspects of store operations, ensuring high‑quality retail standards, strong sales performance, and excellent customer service in line with company objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across sales floor, fresh departments, checkout, receiving and back‑store areas.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, safety and visual merchandising standards.
• Ensure product availability, accurate pricing and timely replenishment.
• Achieve sales, profitability and KPI targets while monitoring trends, shrinkage and wastage.
• Execute promotional campaigns and seasonal activities.
• Control operating costs to improve profitability.
• Deliver excellent customer service and resolve complaints professionally.
• Lead, motivate and manage department managers and store teams, including scheduling, training and performance evaluations.
• Monitor inventory accuracy, stock rotation, expiry management and minimise losses.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, food‑safety standards and Oman regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 5 + years experience in hypermarket or supermarket operations.
• Mandatory GCC retail experience; Oman experience preferred.
• Strong background in FMCG and fresh‑food retail.
• Proven leadership and operational management capabilities.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of retail ERP/POS systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
