Associate / Senior Analyst – Private Equity

About the role

The Associate / Senior Analyst will support the Private Equity team by managing and enhancing the performance of the investment portfolio. This role combines rigorous financial analysis with strategic initiatives to drive value creation and optimise returns.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate the financial results, operational KPIs and market positioning of portfolio companies.
• Develop, maintain and review advanced financial models for existing investments and new opportunities.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly and annual performance reports to senior management.
• Support portfolio companies through strategic initiatives, performance‑improvement plans and value‑creation activities.
• Identify, assess and execute new investment opportunities, including market screening and pipeline development.
• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and valuation (DCF, comparables, precedent transactions) for potential deals.
• Lead or participate in due‑diligence processes covering financial, commercial and operational aspects.
• Coordinate with external advisors, bankers, auditors and legal counsel on transaction execution.
• Monitor macro‑economic and industry trends and provide recommendations to refine portfolio strategy.
• Contribute to exit planning, marketing material preparation and investor communications.
• Ensure compliance, proper documentation and governance across all portfolio activities.
• Mentor junior analysts and support team development.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in private equity, investment management, corporate finance or financial advisory.
• Proven track record in financial analysis, valuation and managing investment portfolios.
• Exposure to deal execution, due‑diligence and transaction structuring is highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CFA or FMVA are a plus.
