Business Reporting Analyst

About the role

The Business Reporting Analyst will join the IT team at the Port of Duqm to turn complex data sets into clear, actionable insights for the organization. Working closely with multiple departments, you will design, build and maintain dashboards and reports that support strategic and operational decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse data from various applications, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
• Design, develop and optimise SQL queries, Excel models and BI visualisations.
• Create and maintain interactive dashboards and standard reports for business users.
• Identify trends, patterns and anomalies to support strategic planning.
• Conduct regular data‑quality audits and document reporting processes.
• Collaborate with the IT Manager and business stakeholders on new reporting requirements.
• Perform testing, user‑acceptance validation and ongoing maintenance of reporting solutions.
