Commercial Manager

About the role

The Commercial Manager will oversee the commercial and administrative aspects of medium to large‑scale dam construction, earthworks, and water infrastructure projects, ensuring cost control, compliance and stakeholder liaison.

Key responsibilities

• Manage commercial and administrative tasks, including cost control, subcontractor agreements, invoicing, and final accounts.
• Lead the commercial project and administration team: recruitment, training, and performance monitoring.
• Prepare monthly commercial closings, monitor accruals, stock, receivables and payments.
• Coordinate audits, provide data to internal and external auditors, and ensure contractual terms are applied.
• Forecast commercial performance and communicate with finance controllers for queries and custom procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in finance/commercial roles within construction.
• Strong understanding of project cost control, contract management and financial reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems preferred.
