Computer Systems Engineering Lecturer (Full‑Time)

About the role

The College is seeking a full‑time Computer Systems Engineering Lecturer to teach foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate modules, support student development and contribute to research activities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate student records, including assignments, examinations, project marks and reports.
• Provide learning and pastoral support through tutorials and personal development sessions.
• Deliver teaching for foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate courses in computer systems engineering.
• Develop and deliver teaching materials and assessments.
• Participate in assessment processes, including marking, moderation and timely feedback.
• Contribute to curriculum development, quality assurance and other administrative tasks.
• Assist the Head of Department with departmental duties as required.
• Engage in research, supervise students, publish in peer‑reviewed venues and support grant applications.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in higher education, or a master’s degree with at least five years of relevant experience.
• Preferably a member of a professional engineering institution (e.g., CEng or IEng).
