Engineering Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for an Engineering Coordinator to manage inventory and supplies for our new lifestyle property in Jabal Akhdar, Oman. The role supports the engineering team, ensures guests receive the right equipment promptly, and helps maintain sustainable stock practices.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with the engineering team to identify inventory needs and guarantee timely delivery of supplies and equipment.
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships, negotiate terms and pricing, and monitor purchase contracts.
• Train and supervise storekeeping staff, ensuring smooth workflow and accurate record‑keeping.
• Maintain inventory records, track stock levels, set reorder points and prevent stockouts.
• Collaborate with finance to ensure proper documentation and accurate financial reporting.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and negotiate competitive pricing with suppliers.
• Fulfill guest requests for equipment or supplies quickly and efficiently.
• Support sustainable procurement by sourcing environmentally responsible items and applying FIFO and inventory rotation practices.

Required profile

• Experience collaborating with engineering or facilities teams.
• Proven ability to manage inventory, vendor relationships and stock control processes.
• Experience training or supervising storekeeping personnel.
• Strong coordination with finance and procurement functions.
• Customer‑focused mindset with ability to respond to guest equipment requests.
• Commitment to sustainable and responsible inventory practices.
