Extruder Operator

About the role

We are looking for an Extruder Operator to join our cable manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing cables that meet exact specifications while adhering to quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Produce cables at rated speeds following the Quality Compliance Plan (QCP) and specifications.
• Set up and adjust the extruder machine efficiently according to operating instructions.
• Follow all safety procedures and ensure a safe working environment.
• Verify orders against mandates to confirm correct cable specifications.
• Enter and update production data in the MES system.
• Communicate any issues or deviations to the supervisor promptly.

Required profile

• Secondary school education with vocational training.
• 3 to 5 years of experience operating an extruder machine in a production environment.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of production processes and quality control.
• Experience with in‑process testing.
• Basic technical skills related to machinery operation.
