Field Operator

About the role

The Field Operator is responsible for monitoring plant parameters, coordinating with the CCR Operator, and ensuring safe start‑up and shut‑down of power, water desalination or renewable energy units. The role requires strict adherence to safety procedures and quick response during emergencies.

Key responsibilities

• Comply with all safety rules, fire equipment usage and HSE procedures.
• Monitor local plant parameters, record readings on log sheets and summarize shift activities.
• Inspect equipment and auxiliaries, report abnormalities and raise work requests.
• Perform equipment change‑over according to schedule and coordinate isolation/lining‑up with the CCR Operator.
• Maintain housekeeping, assist in training new operators and report near‑miss incidents.
• Monitor environmental regulatory parameters and report deviations.

Required profile

• Technical Diploma in Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of field‑operation experience in power, water desalination or renewable energy plants.
• Familiarity with plant P&IDs, SOPs, work instructions and basic control logics.
• Awareness of HSE and quality standards.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

Required skills

• Experience with RO, MSF, MED desalination processes.
• Experience with solar and wind power plants.
• Knowledge of HSE and quality standards.
