Grade 3 Teacher

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Grade 3 Teacher to join a primary school in Muscat. The successful candidate will deliver the national curriculum, support student wellbeing and contribute to the school community.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in school meetings related to curriculum, administration and pastoral care.
• Attend parent meetings prepared to discuss student achievement and wellbeing.
• Plan and deliver well‑structured lessons aligned with the school’s scheme of work.
• Assign and monitor homework in line with school policy.
• Use assessment data to track progress, set targets and inform future lessons.
• Provide regular oral and written feedback, following the school’s marking policy.
• Record and analyse formative and summative assessments to ensure progress.
• Undertake pastoral duties as required.
• Engage in professional development and training activities.

Required profile

• BA in Education.
• Minimum two years of teaching experience, preferably in the UK.
• BE.d qualification.
• Desirable: PGCE, QTS or a teaching licence.
