Graduate Engineer – Civil

About the role

WSP is seeking a motivated Graduate Engineer – Civil to join its project teams. You will support the delivery of construction projects, ensuring they meet design specifications, safety standards, and schedule commitments while gaining exposure to a global portfolio of landmark works.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing engineering projects from inception through completion, developing plans, schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, architects and regulatory bodies to align project objectives.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
• Review designs, specifications and drawings for accuracy and feasibility, providing input to optimise construction processes.
• Implement QA/QC procedures, perform inspections and document any non‑conformities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, fostering effective communication and teamwork.
• Provide mentorship and support to junior engineers and site staff as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Eligibility for Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
• Demonstrated experience in site management and construction environments.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and relevant regulations.
