Group Finance Manager

About the role

The Group Finance Manager will lead the finance function across a diversified business group operating in real estate development, retail, hypermarket operations, and real estate services. This senior position reports to senior leadership and is responsible for driving financial performance, compliance, and strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Group Finance function across multiple entities.
• Oversee financial reporting, consolidation, budgeting, and forecasting in line with IFRS.
• Drive treasury management, cash‑flow planning, and maintain banking relationships.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, corporate governance, and VAT requirements.
• Support strategic investment decisions, project feasibility studies, and financial modelling.
• Lead ERP, automation, and finance transformation initiatives.
• Partner with senior leadership to improve profitability and overall business performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA or CA.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong background in group consolidation and IFRS reporting.
• Experience in real estate, construction, retail, FMCG or diversified business groups.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• Preferred MBA or Master’s degree in Finance.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo).
• In‑depth knowledge of IFRS and VAT regulations.
• Expertise in corporate governance frameworks.
• Proficiency in treasury management and cash‑flow planning.
• Advanced financial reporting, consolidation, budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling.
