Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

The Housekeeping Supervisor leads a team to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and guest service across all hotel areas. You will ensure daily operations align with the hotel’s brand and quality expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and supervise housekeeping staff, ensuring coverage meets business needs.
• Conduct daily inspections of rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house spaces, reporting any defects for prompt repair.
• Train team members on luxury standards, proper use of chemicals, and equipment operation.
• Coordinate with Front Office for VIP rooms, early arrivals, and room changes.
• Manage mini‑bar procedures, inventory, and spot checks with the F&B assistant.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of housekeeping experience in a luxury or five‑star hotel, with 1‑2 years in a supervisory role.
• High school diploma; hospitality or hotel management qualification preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and ability to motivate a diverse team.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of chemical product usage and safe handling.
• Operation and maintenance of housekeeping equipment (vacuum cleaners, buffing machines, etc.).
• Inventory management for linen, consumables, and mini‑bar supplies.
