Information Technology Support Specialist

About the role

The Information Technology Support Specialist will oversee the development, enhancement, and implementation of software applications while ensuring robust hardware and system connectivity across the organization. This role combines project supervision, user support, and training to meet business needs efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Implement project management systems at office and project sites for effective supervision.
• Supervise request approval processes for systems, software, applications, and internet users.
• Enforce company policies and procedural requirements before activating user accounts and assigning roles.
• Gather and consolidate computer requirements from projects with delivery schedules.
• Oversee outsourced development to ensure timely, on‑budget completion.
• Prepare CIR and hardware & software purchase requests.
• Supervise deployment and availability of desktops, laptops, servers, printers, scanners, and multimedia equipment.
• Coordinate with the central store for hardware delivery and inventory updates.
• Provide training on both in‑house and off‑the‑shelf software applications.
• Ensure timely availability of IT equipment for meetings, trainings, and interviews.
• Develop and enforce software development standards, processes, and procedures.
• Generate weekly and monthly project monitoring reports via project management tools.
• Maintain leaver‑joiner lists and periodically update email user accounts.
• Assist offices and projects with software/hardware needs, implementation, and troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences.
• Minimum 5 years overall experience, including at least 3 years in System Administration.
