IT Helpdesk Support

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Helpdesk Support professional to join our team in Muscat on a permanent basis. The role involves providing first‑line technical assistance to end‑users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring smooth operation of IT services.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to user tickets and resolve incidents related to desktops, laptops, printers and network connectivity.
• Maintain and monitor Microsoft System Center for asset management and service delivery.
• Document solutions, share knowledge with colleagues and contribute to the knowledge base.
• Assist with routine maintenance, software updates and hardware deployments.
• Escalate complex problems to senior engineers while ensuring timely communication with users.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in an IT helpdesk or desktop support environment.
• Professional certifications such as Microsoft environment‑related certifications, ITIL Foundation and CompTIA A+ are desirable.
• Fluent in both Arabic and English, spoken and written.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft System Center.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently.
