About the role
The Lifeguard ensures the safety and enjoyment of guests at the pool area by monitoring swimmers, responding to emergencies, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
Key responsibilities
- Observe swimmers and use appropriate rescue techniques when assistance is needed.
- Monitor the pool area for hazardous conditions, unsafe activities, and distressed guests.
- Promote facility rules, provide first aid, and assist injured guests until emergency services arrive.
- Maintain cleanliness by folding towels, washing, mopping, and cleaning the pool deck.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- CPR certification.
- First Aid certification.
Required skills
- CPR proficiency.
- First Aid proficiency.
