Primary Teacher – Lower Primary (Key Stage 1) – Oman

About the role

The school is looking for a Primary Teacher to start in August 2026, preferably with experience in lower primary or Key Stage 1. The role involves delivering the International Cambridge curriculum, the Ministry of Education’s Basic Education Program and supporting the IB pathway.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons for lower‑primary students using the Cambridge and national curricula.
• Integrate the International Baccalaureate framework where appropriate.
• Utilise school facilities such as the gym, playgrounds, padel courts and swimming pool for extracurricular activities.
• Participate in professional development and CPD programmes.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of post‑qualification teaching experience.
• Bachelor’s degree closely related to the teaching subject.
• Qualified teacher status (e.g., PGCE, QTS or equivalent).
• Under 60 years of age.
• Successful completion of Safer Recruitment checks.
