Purchasing Manager

About the role

The Purchasing Manager will lead the procurement activities for a new overseas factory in Oman, handling utilities contracts and production material sourcing. This position requires close collaboration with the domestic procurement team and the ability to manage complex, cross‑border purchasing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate, sign and centrally manage contracts for utilities such as water, electricity and gas during the factory preparation phase.
• Lead procurement contract negotiations and management throughout the mid‑stage construction of the production line.
• Coordinate with the home‑country procurement team to ensure seamless supply of production materials for the overseas site.
• Monitor procurement workflows, identify exceptions and implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience in relevant industries.
• Proven experience managing procurement for overseas projects.
• Fluent in both Chinese and English.
• Strong analytical and decision‑making capabilities, able to resolve complex procurement issues independently.
• Willingness to travel internationally as required.
