Rider Operations Coordinator

About the role

The Rider Operations Coordinator will lead and optimise the performance of our on‑ground rider teams. You will be responsible for ensuring high‑quality service, compliance, and efficient scheduling across allocated zones.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and improve rider performance and compliance.
• Lead rider recruitment and onboarding for designated zones.
• Manage a team of Rider Coordinators and Rider Captains, assigning ad‑hoc tasks and projects.
• Document weekly logistics KPIs and propose actionable improvements.
• Control and optimise internal Service Level KPIs at both zone and rider levels.
• Create and maintain rider rosters, allocating shifts, breaks, and off‑days.
• Oversee inventory usage and compliance of rider equipment.
• Reduce rider‑level cancellations by developing and executing action plans.
• Implement performance improvement plans for low‑performing riders and provide coaching.
• Audit fleet appearance and rider behaviour through on‑ground visits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 2 years experience in the food or grocery tech industry (preferred).
• Proficiency with Google Suite tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Public speaking, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• People‑management experience overseeing larger groups.
