Sales Associate

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Sales Associate to join Al Boom Marine’s retail team in Muscat. The successful candidate will deliver an excellent in‑store experience, understand customer needs and help achieve the store’s sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, identify their needs and provide product information, cross‑selling and upselling where appropriate.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of marine and leisure product range, promotions and brand initiatives.
• Ensure merchandise is displayed according to visual‑merchandising standards and keep the store clean and organized.
• Handle POS transactions, process sales, returns and exchanges accurately, and manage cash and card payments in line with company policy.
• Participate in stock‑taking, inventory audits and report discrepancies.
• Collaborate with the team, attend sales huddles and product‑knowledge sessions, and communicate feedback to the Store Manager.

Required profile

• Previous retail sales or customer‑service experience, preferably in a premium marine, sports or lifestyle environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive, sales‑driven attitude.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Fluency in English is an advantage.

Required skills

• Basic operation of POS systems and cash handling.
