Senior Human Resources Specialist

About the role

The Senior Human Resources Specialist will lead the organisation’s talent acquisition and workforce planning initiatives, ensuring the attraction, deployment and development of high‑calibre local and international talent. This role aligns recruitment activities with business growth, operational priorities and national workforce development goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual workforce planning cycle, providing data‑driven insights on headcount, capability gaps and organisational design.
• Oversee end‑to‑end recruitment across local and international markets, developing targeted sourcing strategies for critical roles.
• Implement a competency‑based selection framework, facilitating behavioural, technical and psychometric assessments.
• Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, aligning talent acquisition with strategic priorities.
• Contribute to employer branding and build sustainable talent pipelines locally and abroad.
• Monitor HR analytics such as time‑to‑fill, quality of hire and pipeline strength, delivering dashboards for leadership.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, Omani labour law and governance frameworks, maintaining audit‑ready documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in talent acquisition and workforce planning, with exposure to both local and international recruitment.
• Experience in structured, industrial or advanced sectors is preferred.
