Senior Internal Auditor (Real Estate)

About the role

The client, a leading real‑estate organization in Oman, is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to lead and participate in comprehensive audit engagements across its residential, commercial and hospitality assets. The role involves planning, executing and reporting on audits while mentoring junior staff and ensuring audit quality.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute internal audit assignments independently or as part of a team.
• Evaluate the design and operation of internal controls, identify improvement areas and prepare detailed audit reports.
• Follow up on management’s implementation of audit recommendations and contribute to the annual audit plan.
• Conduct risk assessments, ensure compliance with audit standards and regulatory requirements, and communicate findings to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• 3‑7 years of internal audit experience, preferably in construction, contracting or similar industries.
• Relevant certifications such as CPA or CIA are preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with audit software.
• Strong command of MS Office tools.
