Senior Planning Engineer

About the role

The Senior Planning Engineer will lead the implementation of efficient work and outage management processes across the cluster, driving continuous improvement, cost‑driven value creation and positioning the fleet in the top global quartile throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and report cluster KPIs monthly, quarterly and annually, identify variances and coordinate corrective action plans with site stakeholders.
• Prepare and circulate monthly MIS reports highlighting KPI achievements.
• Address audit observations related to work planning and ensure timely closure.
• Implement the maintenance strategy, aligning critical asset preventive maintenance with EPRI, managing SCD and SPOF mitigation.
• Ensure corporate maintenance planning, scheduling procedures and CMMS processes are effectively applied.
• Drive continuous improvement of maintenance programs to enhance reliability and resource efficiency.
• Optimize planned maintenance based on asset criticality and improve wrench time.
• Coordinate outage schedules, resource loading and critical spares availability, ensuring compliance with corporate outage management procedures.
• Conduct post‑outage lessons learned, capture actions and verify KPI achievement.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in maintenance planning and outage management within an industrial or production environment.
• Proven ability to monitor plant performance, prepare MIS reports and drive KPI improvements.
• Strong coordination skills with engineering, finance, supply chain and cluster stakeholders.
• Experience handling audit findings and implementing corrective actions.
