Senior SharePoint Developer / Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior SharePoint Developer / Engineer with over 10 years of hands‑on experience to lead the migration of our SharePoint environment from SharePoint 2019 to SharePoint Subscription Edition. The role will ensure platform stability, security and performance while providing technical leadership and knowledge transfer to internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead migration planning, execution and rollback for SharePoint 2019 to SharePoint Subscription Edition.
• Perform advanced SharePoint administration, farm management, patching, backups and disaster‑recovery procedures.
• Monitor and optimise platform health, performance, storage and search indexing.
• Implement security best practices, manage permissions, authentication and compliance activities.
• Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams and conduct knowledge‑transfer sessions.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with infrastructure, vendors and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience designing, developing and supporting Microsoft SharePoint environments.
• Proven experience leading large‑scale SharePoint migrations and upgrades.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for complex SharePoint, service and integration issues.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder coordination and knowledge sharing.
