Storekeeper – Foreman (Civil Construction)

About the role

The Storekeeper – Foreman will oversee all material handling and warehouse activities for the civil construction division. This onsite position ensures that construction supplies are received, stored, tracked and dispatched efficiently while complying with safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and store construction materials and equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP and Excel.
• Control stock levels, conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Coordinate material issue to site teams and monitor consumption.
• Ensure warehouse layout follows safety and regulatory guidelines.
• Prepare reports on inventory status, movements and forecasts.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of storekeeping experience in civil construction.
• Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with ERP systems.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control and warehouse safety procedures.
