Switchgear Wireman / Panel Wiring Technician

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Switchgear Wireman to join our panel manufacturing team in Muscat. The role involves hands‑on wiring, assembly and testing of LV/MV control panels, distribution boards and MCC panels while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform wiring and assembly of LV/MV electrical control panels, MCC panels and distribution boards.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Install and connect components according to approved drawings.
• Carry out point‑to‑point wiring, cable dressing, ferruling, termination and labeling.
• Inspect wiring for accuracy, identify and rectify errors or faults.
• Use hand tools, testing equipment and wiring accessories safely.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area and follow HSE requirements.

Required profile

• ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
• 2–5 years of experience in panel wiring and assembly, including LV/MV control panels, distribution boards and MCC panels.
• Practical knowledge of electrical components and wiring practices.
• Strong attention to detail and good electrical safety awareness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team.
