Therapy Area Representative – Commercial Portfolio (6‑month contract)

About the role

Novartis is seeking an Omani national to join its commercial team as a Therapy Area Representative for a six‑month fixed‑term contract. The role focuses on executing in‑field tactics for priority brands within a defined territory, engaging healthcare professionals and delivering compliant product promotion.

Key responsibilities

• Execute data‑driven field engagement and tailor omnichannel interactions using digital tools.
• Promote products in line with brand strategy while ensuring compliance with Novartis policies and local regulations.
• Act as a trusted partner to healthcare professionals by communicating clinical evidence and product value.
• Leverage “next best action” insights and digital platforms to maximise engagement impact.
• Capture and share field insights on customer needs, market dynamics and competitor activity.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally and maintain full compliance with ethical standards.

Required profile

• Relevant university degree.
• Solid understanding of the Omani market (preferred).
• Proven track record of successful field performance.
• Strong communication, analytical and presentation abilities.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship‑management skills.
