APG Crew Chief (F-16) – Aircraft Maintenance

About the role
The APG Crew Chief is responsible for keeping F-16 aircraft in safe working condition by servicing engines, airframe components, and all electro‑mechanical systems. The role includes supervising maintenance activities and ensuring compliance with technical data and documentation.
Key responsibilities
- Perform major maintenance such as landing gear replacement, flight control replacement, and periodical inspections.
- Conduct end‑of‑runway, post‑flight, pre‑flight, thru‑flight, and phase inspections, including integrated combat turns and hot‑pit refuels.
- Supervise flight chief, expediter, crew chief, repair, reclamation, quality assurance, and maintenance support functions.
- Diagnose and solve maintenance problems using technical data, and conduct functional tests of repaired components.
Required profile
- Minimum 3‑5 years experience on aircraft similar to the F‑16 Block 50.
- High school diploma or GED with relevant certification.
- US citizenship required for facility credentials/authorization.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lb frequently and up to 50 lb occasionally.
