Arabic Quality Assurance Lead (Remote)

About the role

This remote contract position focuses on leading quality assurance for Arabic AI training projects. You will ensure that AI‑generated Arabic content and trainer outputs meet high linguistic and cultural standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee quality, consistency, and trainer performance across Arabic AI training projects.
• Review AI‑generated Arabic content and trainer/QA work against detailed project rubrics.
• Provide precise written feedback in English and ensure contributors follow quality standards.
• Assess content for accuracy, fluency, grammar, spelling, tone, cultural appropriateness, meaning preservation, instruction‑following, formatting, and rubric adherence.
• Identify recurring quality issues, communicate updates to trainers and QAs, and support onboarding of new contributors.
• Maintain documentation and help reactivate contributors who are not consistently active.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Arabic, Linguistics, Translation, Communications, Journalism, English, Education, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
• Native or near‑native Arabic proficiency with strong reading and writing skills.
• Strong command of English for following guidelines and providing feedback.
• 3+ years of professional experience in Arabic writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, AI training, annotation, or related workflows.
• Deep knowledge of Arabic grammar, spelling, punctuation, diacritics, RTL formatting, tone, register, Modern Standard Arabic and regional variations.
• Ability to evaluate content against detailed rubrics and spot issues such as mistranslation, unnatural tone, dialect inconsistency, hallucinated claims, ambiguity, or terminology errors.
• Experience leading or supporting remote teams of trainers, annotators, reviewers, editors, or QAs is strongly preferred.
