Associate Director, Sales

About the role

The Associate Director, Sales will lead Amouage’s commercial organisation across Oman, overseeing Retail, Wholesale, Duty‑Free and Corporate Sales. Reporting to the Head of Global Retail & GM Oman, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, profitability and brand excellence in the flagship market.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi‑channel commercial plan covering revenue, margin, channel mix and brand health.
• Set channel priorities and investment trade‑offs for Retail, Wholesale, Duty‑Free and Corporate Sales.
• Hold Area Sales Managers and Corporate Sales Manager accountable to targets and brand standards.
• Protect and enhance Amouage’s heritage and positioning as the home market and flagship.
• Represent the maison with senior government, palace, landlord and partner stakeholders.
• Lead flagship events, press, VIP hosting and royal engagements.
• Build and mentor a high‑performing senior team, ensuring succession depth and cultural alignment.
• Own commercial operating expenses, capex requests and channel investments, ensuring compliance with Group policies.
• Provide market performance feedback and strategic insights to Global Retail.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent senior commercial qualification preferred.
• 12+ years of senior commercial leadership experience, preferably in luxury, retail or fragrance sectors.
• Proven track record of delivering revenue growth and profitability across multiple sales channels.
• Experience managing senior teams and stakeholder relationships at a national level.
