Associate People Operations

About the role

The Associate People Operations role supports the HR department by handling day‑to‑day administration, onboarding, employee experience initiatives and regulatory compliance. You will act as a key point of contact for employees, ensuring smooth processes from hire to exit while collaborating with core operations and regional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain onboarding trackers, coordinate pre‑onboarding requirements and support new joiners during their first week.
• Update group email lists and Slack channels, prepare announcements for new hires and public updates.
• Promote cultural best practices using PEAKON analysis and organise quarterly engagement activities aligned with Talabat’s core values.
• Manage legal certifications, quality approvals and ensure records are ready for Ministry of Labour inspections.
• Maintain employee benefit records, insurance, and employment status; conduct file audits.
• Assist with exit interviews, collect feedback and handle termination paperwork.
• Facilitate vendor information for Head of Functions activities and organise team engagement events.
• Track residency, EOS payments and insurance cancellations for departing staff.
• Coordinate with payroll specialists, prepare payroll data and produce monthly budget vs. expenditure reports.
• Prepare offline offer letters, conduct culture‑fit interviews, manage onboarding for store staff and oversee disciplinary actions.

Required profile

• Strong organizational and administrative abilities.
• Excellent communication skills to address employee queries and grievances.
• Familiarity with local labour regulations and HR documentation processes.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with operations, procurement and payroll teams.
• Detail‑oriented mindset for record‑keeping and audit preparation.
