Associate Public Relations Officer

About the role

The Associate Public Relations Officer will act as the primary liaison between Oceaneering Group Enterprise and various government entities in Muscat. The role ensures smooth processing of visas, work permits, and residency documentation for expatriate staff and their dependents, while supporting health, safety and compliance initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain, renew and cancel visas, work permits and residence permits for expatriate employees and dependents.
• Coordinate with embassies, immigration, police, labour offices and other government agencies to ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Administer MOHRE and immigration portals, monitor labour contract compliance, and manage company and joint‑venture licences.
• Facilitate medical appointments, security passes and other employee services as required.
• Support safety culture by promoting HSE policies and participating in integrity management processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in government liaison, immigration or related public‑relations functions.
• Secondary education completed; higher education is a plus.
• Fluent in spoken and written Arabic and English.
• Valid UAE driving licence.
