Ayurveda Therapist

About the role

SAFAR GROUP, a global manpower recruitment and staffing organisation, is recruiting an Ayurveda Therapist for a full-time hybrid position in Oman. The role combines on-site work at wellness or healthcare facilities with some work-from-home duties for documentation and follow-up.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Ayurveda therapy sessions such as massages and treatments, following prescribed therapeutic plans.
• Maintain a safe, hygienic and calming environment for clients.
• Assess client needs and explain treatment procedures clearly.
• Maintain accurate records of therapies provided.
• Collaborate with other wellness or medical professionals as needed.
• Provide client-centred care while upholding professional and ethical standards.

Required profile

• Formal training or certification in Ayurveda therapy or a related holistic health field; relevant healthcare or wellness experience is an advantage.
• Practical experience providing Ayurvedic treatments.
• Ability to adapt to a hybrid work model in Oman, with reliable time management and self-directed work at home.
• Basic proficiency in English; additional languages commonly used in Oman are beneficial.
• Willingness to work in multicultural teams and respect local customs and regulations.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Ayurveda principles, therapies and protocols.
• Client assessment, treatment planning and careful documentation of sessions and outcomes.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• High standards of hygiene, safety and professional conduct in a clinical or wellness setting.
