Regulatory Affairs Specialist

About the role

Global Animal Health provides animal health products and resources for veterinary professionals worldwide, covering equine, camel, companion animal, cattle, sheep and goats, poultry and pigeon species. It is hiring a full-time, on-site Regulatory Affairs Specialist in Sohar to ensure that its products and activities comply with applicable regulatory standards and requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and maintain regulatory documentation for animal health products
• Coordinate regulatory submissions to relevant authorities
• Monitor regulatory changes, interpret requirements and advise internal teams on compliance best practices
• Collaborate with product development, quality assurance and commercial teams on product registrations, labeling and post-approval changes
• Maintain accurate records and timelines
• Support audits and inspections, address regulatory queries and contribute to continuous improvement of regulatory processes

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher in veterinary science, pharmacy, life sciences, biotechnology or a related field
• Experience with national or regional regulatory authorities; animal health or pharmaceutical sector experience is highly beneficial
• Comfortable working on-site in Sohar within a diverse, multidisciplinary team

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of regulatory affairs and regulatory requirements for animal health or related industries
• Ability to prepare and manage regulatory documentation and coordinate submissions
• Ensuring regulatory compliance across product development, registration and post-market activities
• Analyzing regulatory texts, interpreting guidelines and turning requirements into actionable steps for cross-functional teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication, attention to detail and strong organization
