Specialist Obstetrician & Gynecologist

About the role

A highly qualified Specialist Obstetrician & Gynecologist is sought to join a medical team in the IT Services sector. The role delivers clinical care, manages complex gynecological cases and ensures high standards of patient safety and accurate medical records, covering routine prenatal care through to high-risk pregnancies and surgical interventions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and oversee a wide range of gynecological procedures and treatments with clinical excellence.
• Design and implement family planning strategies alongside preventive gynecological care programs.
• Conduct in-depth patient counseling and use sound clinical judgment to make critical medical decisions.
• Maintain precise medical records in line with strict protocols for patient safety and data integrity.
• Manage high-risk pregnancy cases with specialized monitoring and intervention when needed.
• Conduct normal deliveries and perform Cesarean sections (C-sections).

Required profile

• Valid MBBS degree with an MD or MS specialization in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Eligibility for Oman Ministry of Health (MOH) licensing.
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Advanced proficiency in gynecological procedures, treatment protocols and patient counseling.
• Proven ability to manage normal deliveries, C-sections and complex high-risk pregnancies.
