Ballet Teacher

About the role

The International School of Choueifat – Muscat is seeking a dedicated Ballet Teacher to develop and inspire students across all grade levels. You will lead the school’s ballet program, preparing students for competitions and end‑of‑year performances while fostering a safe and artistic learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement written practice plans, performance tracking, and departmental reports for competition preparation.
• Deliver the SABIS Ballet curriculum using the SABIS Point System to support academic achievement.
• Monitor student safety and maintain the professional SABIS image within the school setting.
• Assess students’ physical and artistic abilities, creating individualized programs to meet their goals.
• Report regularly to the Head of Department on student progress, challenges, and recommended actions.
• Collaborate with Student Life and Student Management teams to ensure holistic academic progress.
• Develop drills and activities aligned with Regional Ballet lesson outlines.
• Participate as a judge in Inter‑Choueifat competitions.
• Choreograph and direct the annual school dance performance involving all grades.

Required profile

• Certificate in ballet or a related subject area.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
