Billing & Collections Specialist – Consumer Division

About the role
This position supports billing and collection operations for consumer accounts, ensuring accurate invoicing and timely cash collection. The role focuses on credit risk assessment, handling billing queries, and collaborating across departments to maintain high customer satisfaction and meet divisional objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze delinquent accounts and prepare monthly provisions for uncollectable balances.
- Ensure accuracy of pre‑paid and post‑paid bills for fixed, mobile, and internet services.
- Monitor credit and cash collection activities through banks, billing kiosks, and other channels.
- Process credit adjustment requests in line with company policies.
- Address complex billing queries and complaints, escalating when necessary.
- Generate daily, weekly and monthly reports on billing and collection performance.
- Identify revenue leakage and potential fraud, escalating issues appropriately.
- Conduct routine financial analysis to assess credit risk and payment trends.
- Collaborate with internal teams and third‑party partners for billing reconciliation and operational support.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in billing, collections, or related financial operations.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent business communication and planning skills.
- High ethical standards and compliance awareness.
