Business Analyst – Retail Banking (Immediate Requirement)

About the role

Support the bank’s retail banking transformation and system enhancement initiatives, acting as a key interface between business units, IT delivery teams, vendors, and governance functions.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, elicit and document business, functional and non‑functional requirements for core retail banking systems, customer‑facing channels and payments processes.
• Prepare and maintain artefacts such as Business Requirements Documents, functional specifications, user stories, process maps and data flows.
• Facilitate workshops, walkthroughs and sign‑off sessions with stakeholders across retail banking, operations, finance, compliance and risk.
• Collaborate with internal IT teams, external vendors and system integrators to ensure alignment with the IT roadmap and enterprise architecture.
• Support UAT planning and execution, including test case validation, defect analysis and requirement clarification.
• Manage requirement changes through formal change‑management processes and assess impact on scope, schedule and budget.
• Ensure all requirements address regulatory, security, operational and performance considerations.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 + years experience as a Business Analyst in banking or financial services, preferably in Oman or the GCC.
• Strong exposure to retail banking systems – core banking, channels, payments and customer onboarding.
• Hands‑on experience with vendor‑led implementations, UAT, change management and production rollout support.
• Business Analysis certification (CBAP, CCBA, PMI‑PBA or equivalent) is preferred.
• Immediate availability (within 30 days) is highly valued.
