Business Development Manager – Drilling Fluids & Waste

About the role

We are looking for a results‑driven Business Development Manager to expand our Drilling Fluids (DF) and Drilling Waste Management (DWM) portfolio in Oman. You will lead sales initiatives, build strong client relationships, and ensure the successful delivery of technical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales and business development strategies to meet revenue and profitability targets.
• Identify new opportunities and grow relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Manage key accounts, maintaining long‑term partnerships.
• Promote DF and DWM products and services, tailoring solutions to customer technical requirements.
• Prepare and deliver technical proposals, presentations, and commercial offers.
• Oversee the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure.
• Collaborate with operations, technical, product support, and finance teams for project execution.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports.
• Champion QHSE standards and promote a strong safety culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of technical sales and business development experience in the Oil & Gas sector.
• Experience with Drilling Fluids and/or Drilling Waste Management is highly preferred.
• Strong commercial acumen with a proven record of sales growth and account management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship‑building abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver results in a fast‑paced environment.
