Business Intelligence Manager

About the role

The Business Intelligence Manager collects, analyses and interprets data to support strategic and operational decisions, turning market data sets into clear reports and performance measures. The role works with cross-functional departments, helps business heads spot opportunities, trends and growth areas, and guides reporting metrics and growth strategies. It also covers building BI dashboards and MIS.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, clean and validate data from internal and external sources, and investigate data anomalies
• Design, produce and maintain regular and ad hoc management reports, executive summaries and performance indicators aligned with business objectives
• Translate business questions into analytical requirements and reporting specifications, and document data sources, definitions and calculations
• Create clear visualizations and narrative summaries for stakeholder decision-making
• Support planning cycles, business reviews and strategy work with scenario analysis and timely insights
• Build MIS and dashboards for senior management and track KPIs against budget and forecasts
• Work with Finance on yield, cost, budgets and performance, and liaise with PMO, IT, Risk and Compliance
• Identify repetitive tasks and automate them with BI tools and scripting languages
• Lead BI projects from start to finish, define scope and deliverables, and coordinate task forces across functions

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, big data and AI, computer science, information systems, strategy or equivalent
• Minimum 8 years of experience
• Market and business understanding, strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of local regulations, banking laws and the banking business model

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel, AI tools and dashboards
• Business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Scripting languages such as Python and SQL
• Dashboard development, data analysis, task automation and project management
