Butchery Team Leader – Retail Hypermarket

About the role

The Butchery Team Leader drives quality, freshness and range standards within a hypermarket butchery department, ensuring an exceptional customer experience while meeting sales targets. You will motivate the team, resolve issues quickly, and coach staff to deliver top‑notch service.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily butchery operations, guaranteeing product quality, freshness and constant availability.
• Manage inventory: monitor stock levels, place replenishment orders and oversee deliveries.
• Control waste, shrinkage and losses through proper handling, storage and rotation.
• Maintain accurate pricing, promotional execution and attractive product displays.
• Identify slow‑moving items and implement actions to maximise sales before expiration.
• Enforce food safety, hygiene, health and security standards.
• Lead, train and monitor team performance to achieve service excellence and sales goals.
• Analyse performance data and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in a butchery, meat‑processing or retail food environment.
• Strong knowledge of meat cuts, product handling, storage standards and food‑safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication and team‑development abilities.
• Fluent Arabic speaker.
