Cashier

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Cashier to join our restaurant team. You will be the first point of contact for guests, responsible for delivering fast, friendly service while supporting store operations such as housekeeping and visual standards.

Key responsibilities

• Greet every guest within 5 seconds at the front counter or drive‑thru and maintain a warm, welcoming attitude.
• Process cash, credit, voucher and automatic debit payments accurately, issue receipts, refunds and change.
• Maintain a clean, organized checkout area and ensure the front counter is stocked for peak periods.
• Prepare and serve menu items following the “Always Fresh” procedure and monitor product temperatures.
• Execute service recovery promptly for any guest concerns, following the S.E.T. principles (Smile, Eye Contact, Thank You).
• Support visual presentation standards, including proper attire, clean dining room and exterior upkeep.
• Follow all health, safety and sanitation guidelines, including hand‑washing and personal protective equipment.
• Count the cash till at the start of each shift and ensure adequate change is available.
