Cementing Operator – 2 to 5 Years Experience

About the role

The Cementing Operator is responsible for preparing and executing cementing operations on drilling rigs. The role requires hands‑on handling of cementing equipment, ensuring proper mixing, placement and integrity of cement plugs.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare cement slurry and manage rubber wiper plugs for well integrity.
• Operate cutting and loading pods as well as batch mixers to produce the required cement mix.
• Control cementing head and perform chemical mixing according to job specifications.
• Rig up and rig down cementing equipment, performing routine repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Monitor and operate cementing pumps, adjusting pressures and flow rates as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of cementing parameters and report any anomalies.

Required profile

• Omani national.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in cementing operations.
• Basic knowledge of cement slurry, rubber wiper plugs, cutting/loading pods, batch mixers, cementing heads, chemical mixing, rigging, and pump operation.
• Ability to work safely on‑site and follow technical procedures.
