Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Listed Company

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, commercially‑driven Chief Financial Officer to join the executive leadership team of a leading listed company in Oman. Reporting to the CEO and Board, the CFO will shape financial strategy, strengthen governance, lead capital‑raising initiatives and support the next phase of growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial reporting, IFRS compliance, statutory audits and regulatory submissions.
• Oversee treasury, cash‑flow, working capital and banking relationships.
• Structure and execute project financing with local and international lenders.
• Develop and review financial models (IRR, NPV, DSCR, sensitivity analysis).
• Lead debt and equity capital‑raising initiatives and manage investor relations.
• Support M&A, feasibility studies and strategic investment decisions.
• Optimize capital structure, financing strategy and financial risk management.
• Prepare board reports, management accounts, budgets, forecasts and strategic financial plans.
• Build, mentor and lead a high‑performing finance team.
• Act as primary liaison with the stock exchange, regulators, auditors and financial institutions.
• Drive ERP implementation, financial reporting automation and management dashboards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering or related field.
• Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent) – mandatory.
• MBA or Master’s degree – advantage.
• Minimum 10 years finance experience, at least 5 years in a CFO or VP Finance role.
• Proven expertise in project finance, capital raising, treasury management and financial modelling.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, corporate governance and board‑level reporting.
• Experience in Energy, Oil & Gas, Infrastructure, Utilities or Industrial sectors – preferred.
• GCC experience, especially Oman market knowledge – highly desirable.
• Experience leading ERP implementation or finance transformation – preferred.
