About the role
Travexell is seeking an experienced Chief Mechanic to join a leading onshore drilling rig project in Oman. The role involves overseeing all mechanical maintenance and ensuring safe, efficient rig operations.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot rig machinery and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with industrial safety procedures.
- Lead the mechanical maintenance team and coordinate daily activities.
Required profile
- Minimum 10 years total professional experience, including 5 years as a Chief Mechanic.
- Mandatory on‑shore drilling rig and GCC work experience.
- Age between 35 and 50 years.

What we offer
- Monthly salary of OMR 1,200.
- 35‑day rotation schedule.
- Off‑salary benefit equal to 60% of gross salary.
