Civil Engineer (Site Supervisor)

About the role

A reputed company in Oman is hiring an experienced Civil Engineer to act as Site Supervisor. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in site supervision, project execution, tender bidding and construction management, with Gulf experience and strong technical knowledge encouraged.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage day-to-day construction site activities.
• Monitor project execution so that work is completed on time and meets quality standards.
• Prepare and take part in tender bidding and estimation activities.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and project teams.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations and company procedures.
• Prepare site reports, progress reports and project documentation.
• Resolve technical issues at the construction site.
• Monitor manpower, materials and equipment utilization.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Civil Engineer.
• Gulf experience is mandatory.
• Experience in site supervision and tender bidding is essential.
• Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is an added advantage.
• Preferred nationality: Indian.
