Commercial Refrigeration and Kitchen Equipment Technician

About the role

The Commercial Refrigeration and Kitchen Equipment Technician will work on‑site in Muscat, installing, inspecting, maintaining and repairing commercial refrigeration systems and kitchen equipment for a variety of clients. The role focuses on ensuring optimal performance, safety and high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain and repair commercial refrigeration and kitchen equipment at client sites.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and refrigeration faults and perform corrective actions.
• Carry out preventive maintenance programmes and replace worn or defective parts.
• Calibrate equipment to meet operational standards.
• Respond promptly to service requests and maintain accurate service records.
• Coordinate with the support team and suppliers for parts and technical assistance.
• Advise clients on proper equipment use, basic care and safety procedures.
• Follow company procedures, safety regulations and contribute to customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Strong skills in equipment maintenance and preventive maintenance for commercial refrigeration and kitchen equipment.
• Proficient in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical and refrigeration issues.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with clients, colleagues and suppliers.
• Technical diploma or certification in refrigeration, HVAC, or mechanical/electrical engineering.
• Hands‑on experience in installation and service of commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment.
• Knowledge of safety standards, tools and diagnostic instruments used in equipment maintenance.
• Ability to work independently on‑site, manage time effectively and handle multiple service requests.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to client locations within Muscat and surrounding areas.
