Contracts & Procurement Engineer

About the role

The Contracts & Procurement Engineer will manage the full contract lifecycle for a food and beverage manufacturing company, from tender preparation through to contract close‑out. The role ensures all contractual activities align with company policies, budgets and regulatory requirements while supporting uninterrupted operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare tenders, evaluate bids and conduct commercial analysis.
• Negotiate and draft contracts, manage amendments, claims and variations.
• Monitor contract performance, assess risks and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate with Finance, Legal, Operations, Engineering and Procurement teams.
• Maintain vendor relationships, strategic sourcing and cost optimisation.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of experience in procurement, tendering and contract management, preferably in FMCG, food processing or related industrial environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field; postgraduate qualifications are a plus.
• Proven track record of managing supply, service and maintenance contracts.
• Strong analytical, documentation and problem‑solving abilities.
