About the role

The Credit Review Officer is responsible for executing loan credit review assignments, ensuring accurate evaluation of credit portfolios, risk ratings, and credit management practices. This role supports regulatory compliance and contributes to the enhancement of credit review standards within the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Execute loan credit review assignments, assessing credit portfolios, risk ratings, and management practices.
• Review and validate risk ratings and credit analyses to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Identify emerging credit risk issues and trends, providing recommendations to mitigate risk.
• Manage end‑to‑end credit review processes, including documentation and credit file control.
• Apply data analytics and technology to improve review efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with business teams, risk officers, and credit units to strengthen review standards.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional stakeholders to maintain data integrity for risk assessment.
• Prepare and submit regulatory and internal credit review reports on schedule.
• Interact with regulators, facilitating inspections or audits as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification in Credit Administration (e.g., ACCA, CCP, CBCA, CICC) is desirable.
• Relevant internships or experience in NBFCs or banking environments, particularly in credit administration or review.
• Knowledge of credit risk assessment methodologies, risk rating validation, and regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with local banking regulations and global credit risk standards.
