Delivery & Operations Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Delivery & Operations Engineer to support telecom operator customers across Oman and the Middle East. The role focuses on deploying, configuring, and maintaining our telecom software platforms while providing L2/L3 technical support and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and commission telecom software platforms in customer environments.
• Support system integration, UAT testing, service acceptance, and production roll‑out.
• Provide L2/L3 technical support, monitor platform health, investigate alarms and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Manage software upgrades, patches, migrations and routine maintenance.
• Serve as the primary technical interface for assigned operator customers, delivering training and operational guidance.
• Collaborate with Product, R&D, QA and Project Management teams and escalate software defects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, IT or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software deployment, operations, technical support or telecom system implementation.
• Experience supporting telecom operators, MVNOs or connectivity providers is preferred.
• Strong customer‑facing communication skills.

Required skills

• Linux administration and troubleshooting.
• Virtualisation and cloud environments.
• Docker and Kubernetes (preferred).
• MySQL, PostgreSQL and basic SQL troubleshooting.
• TCP/IP networking, DNS, VPN, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, firewall concepts.
• Monitoring and logging tools, log analysis and root‑cause analysis.
• L2/L3 technical support experience.
